Taylor Macri
Articling Student
Taylor graduated from Queen’s University in 2022 with an Honours BA in Art History. She was on the Dean’s List all four years of her studies and won the Wallace Near Prize in Art History and the Alfred Bader Art History Award.
She graduated from Western Law in 2025 and has returned to Collett Read LLP as an Articling Student after completing her 2L summer here as a Summer Student.
Taylor has always had a passion for working with vulnerable groups and individuals. She volunteered with Best Buddies, Autism Ontario, Room to Read, and Big Brothers Big Sisters throughout her undergraduate degree and law school.
Taylor volunteered as a Caseworker with LIFE*SPIN, a non-profit organization that provides legal information and assistance to low-income individuals. With PBSC, she also worked as a caseworker at Neighbourhood Legal Services in London and the Elgin-Oxford Legal Clinic in St. Thomas which provide legal assistance to low-income individuals in areas of administrative law.
Through these experiences, she realized her true passion was criminal defence, and is excited to complete her articles at Collett Read LLP.
